Meet The Muse | Nadine Pike
In today’s social media obsessed world, authenticity can be hard to come by. That’s where talent guru Nadine Pike and creative agency By Them. come into the fold, offering a fresh take on the content you’re longing for.
We dipped into the life of Nadine to find out what it takes to keep it INTACT - from coffee (a daily must) and family, to client experiences and weekend escapes. Read on to find out what inspires this passionate mum and business founder, including tips for your spring/summer wardrobe essentials.
To start, congratulations! You recently launched By Them. a creative talent agency, can you tell us a little bit about this and what it is you do?
Thank you and I'm really proud of what has been created. By Them. represents passionate and driven creative talent from all different creative backgrounds who produce premium content.
My role and what I do is a mix of many many things, but my main focus is to be the driving force for my talent and clients to make sure they receive the best possible experience and service.
What does a typical day in the life of Nadine look like?
I wake up every morning around 6am, give Rocky a cuddle then I go for a run. I like to clear my head every morning before I start the day. Then I touch base with my business partner Lauren in the morning to see what our day is looking like.
Everyday is different for me which I love…. I could be attending a showing, event or having a meeting with a client or talent. There are days where I just like to be at home working to focus on strategies.
You’re also the amazing mumma of Rocky, how do you balance the pull between career and mum-life?
It is definitely a juggling act but due to the flexibility of having my own business and the same with my husband, we can manage this. We are a great team together and if it wasn’t the help of Toby my husband and my amazing business partner this would’ve not been possible.
When it comes to your day-to-day, what are your nonnegotiables to help keep it INTACT?
I cannot start the day without a coffee, it is a MUST, exercise and being outside in the fresh air helps me recharge and regroup.
How would you define your style? Where do you get your inspiration from?
My style is very minimalistic but I do love a pop of colour as well from time to time. My inspiration comes from many things such as my talent, social media and being a Mum as you don’t have much time to get ready so you need pieces that are practical and can mix and match easily.
What are going to be some of your wardrobe essentials this Spring?
I have my key go to for spring;
- My vintage Levis from LA
- INTACT top, as it goes with everything in my wardrobe
- Black pants from The Undone, Michael Lo Sordo
- Back and White Tees from Jac and Jack
- White baggy jeans from Zulu and Zephyr
- Gold bracelets as well to dress it up
- White shirt with black denim & belt
You were recently down the South Coast, visiting the Kiama area - where did you stay?
We just booked an Airbnb. Hubby and I like to get out of Sydney a few times a month as it helps us regroup creatively and helps us have a time out from the crazy city life, have some quality time with Rocky.
Lastly, what’s the best life advice you’ve ever received?
Best life advice I have received is to never give up, don’t listen to anyone else and you can do anything if you put your mind to it. There is no limit to what you can do.
